Joe Origins will be hitting shelves on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and a special SteelBook on October 19 with a list of special features that include deleted scenes, making-of featurettes and a short film revealing the origins and secrets of Snake Eyes legendary sword Morning Light. Much of the 121-minute run-time is focused on action scenes, which are a mixed bag. Why it took so long for them to get something else Joe onscreen is a head-scratcher, but now that it is done, let's hope they really nailed the tone and fight scenes for the GI Joe experience we are all craving. Paramount has announced that Snake Eyes: G.I. The first film was ehh, but that second one, Retaliation, was a vast improvement. Joe: The Rise of Cobra with more GI Joe and Cobra style vehicles, weapons, and scenes. GI Joe fans should be pretty excited about all of this. This movie hits those marks better than G.I.
